venetian native, born 1958, cultural operator, ballet and television producer, virtual art creator and producer, director and creator of events, musician.

 

Mayor activities 

 

In 1981 January 3rd at 22,he start the career as a junior manager in Asolo Musica Cultural Association, leaded by the former Superintendent of the Fenice,  Floris Luigi Ammannati, and by the opera singer Attilio Zamperoni.

 

In 1982 continue the activity on Asolo Musica and collaborate with his first show in The Venice Carnival directed by Maurizio Scaparro.

 

In 1983, he joined  "Omaggio a Venezia", a well known association in the 1980s, leaded by the violinist Uto Ughi as deputy GM.

 

In 1984, he founded his first own Cultural Association, "World for Venice Fund", in Italy and USA, together with Francesco Da Mosto, coming from Venice’s ancient noble family, and architect Piero Pazzi. The foundation carried out cultural events aimed at the collection of funds for the restoration of monuments in Venice and for charity events. Among the most significant initiatives, there is a great concert at Asolo of the Scala Philharmonic Orchestra, directed by the famous Master Gianandrea Gavazzeni, an event realized in favour of UNICEF.

 

In 1985, started his career as dance and theatre producer, taking over a Spanish Ballet Campaign: the Ballet de Rafael Aguilar. The ballet under his lead has produced until 1989           6 new titles, performed in 450 plays in every part of the world. Among these, the Bolero, Yerma, Diquela de l'Alhambra. The star of the company was Lola Greco, divine of the Spanish dance, still inimitable artist to this day.

 

In 1986, took part  in the famous  Andrea Anderman's Music Night TV program, broadcasted live  in over than 50 countries. The Spanish ballet produced by him did long tour around all Europe.

 

In 1987 he played an important part in the Italian RAI UNO music show. In the same year, he produce and directed, The grand Gala for the closing of  Venice’s Carnival . The Tv program was broadcasted live by Italian RAI Tre and Eurovision. That was his first fully-featured television show, with top stars as Alfredo Kraus, I momix, Gail Gilmore, Luciana Savignano, Carla Fracci.

 

In 1988 his ballet did long tour in Europe with 2 new productions.

 

In 1989 he established his own Spanish dance company "España Ballet", with the young dancer Miguel Angel. He produced 4 new titles and directed the first television event  "Carmem Mito del Gitano" In Macerata that celebrated the return to Josè Carreras on stage  after his long illness. 

 

That year he was also appointed as Artistic Director of the Festival of Villa Pisani in Veneto and the Festival of San Giusto in Trieste.

 

In 1990, he made 4 new ballet productions and a ballet work with Jose Carreras, which went on stage in Rome and Milan.

 

In 1991, he began producing a lyric opera production in the USA, Mexico, Canada, Israel and Spain with over 200 performances in total. Major artists included Anna Caterina Antonacci, Ildiko Komlosi, Ruggero Raimondi, Cecilia Gasdia, and others.

 

In 1992 he was at the Seville Expo,  he collaborated with the United Nations pavilion and with Yuaca E  the local company of the Expo who did several events for the participating countries.

 

In 1993 he was appointed  Artistic  Advisor of the Hungarian State Opera, the Budapest Opera House and he stayed in charge for three years.

 

In 1994, he realized the first two great humanitarian events from Sarajevo, still bloody by the long Serbian siege. The first broadcast was from Sarajevo's pedriatric hospital and from over 15 other locations in the world. Stars like Witney Houston, Carreras,  Zucchero, Victoria de Los Angeles, Renata Scotto, participated to the event, which was broadcasted in 46 countries around the world.

 

After that, he set the milestone for crisis events: the Mozart Requiem, directed by Zunbin Mehta, held inside the ruins of the old library of Sarajevo, burned by the Serbs. It was broadcasted live in 96 countries on the 19th of June, 1994. In Italy it was broadcasted by RAI1.

 

In September of that same year, he realized "Help Rwanda", an event from Rwanda and Taormina, with the participation of Monica Bellucci, Paul Young, Boiz To Men, Uto Ughi and many more.

 

In 1995 he was appointed as GM in a TV local network who start to produce and broadcast in that time new technology 16:9. The networks included 16 mayor local TV in Italy.

 

In 1996, he was called by the United Nations to calibrate the pacification in Bosnia with another great event involving Andrea Bocelli, Luciana Savignano, Maurice Bejiart, Lola Greco, Daniel Ezralow.

 

In the same year he also founded Progetto Italia as a television production house, which is still active. The company produced 67 opera titles, from the San Carlo Theater in Naples, La Fenice in Venice, The Teatro Massimo in Palermo. He produced the TV live big concert with Luciano Pavarotti a Verdi requiem in the suburbs of Naples with San Carlo Opera house under the baton of Daniel Oren.

 

In 1997, he was nominated music director of the "Circuito del Mito", a festival of 109 shows in Sicily. On January first, he produced another history event, in Palermo,: for the first all members of former Yugoslavia, republics played together Beethoven IX Symphony. The United Nation directly  broadcasted the event in 467 networks in the world. 

 

In 1998 he co-produced with Sony Classical , that time leaded by the actual GM of the Met, Peter Gelb, “My Secret Passion” a live DVD with Michael Bolton.  

 

In 1999 produced Falstaff, TV event under the baton of Claudio Abbado.

 

In 2000, he organized for the RAI the world-famous "Marica Callas" singing competition with over 1000 participants from 5 continents. He also created another event from Monreale "Verdi Prayers" in Eurovision in 34 countries in Europe.

 

In 2001 produced 5 opera TV broadcasting from San Carlo Opera House.

 

In 2002, he created "Hymn of the mountains", an event for FAO on the occasion of the year of mountains, a concert with multiple live location, based on the Vatican’s  Poul VI hall, with the presence of Pope John Paul II. The event was broadcasted by RAI 2 in 45 countries around the world.

 

In 2003 he was in Baghdad for a TV event on RAI UNO with the UN for the cultural revival of Iraq after Saddam.

 

Later on, he directed and produced "H2O", an event for the World Water Day, presented in Beirut on June 5th.

 

In October, he started his activity in China, with a great event of music and television from Beijing and Venice, with the participation of La Fenice opera hiuse, followed by a consultancy with the Beijing Music Festival Art Foundation and other Chinese governmental cultural institutions, which are still underway. The first event was broadcasted live by CCTV1 and RAI1

 

In 2004 he produced the welcome event music concert in China for the official visit of the Italian President Carlo Azelio Ciampi, with the Beijing Opera Orchestra and international artists, The event was broadcasted by China National TV CCTV1.

 

In 2005 he directed Magic flute by Mozart  in Baijing,  touring in Shanghai and Guangzhou, with local artist and China Philharmonic orchestra.

 

In 2006 the did the closing Gala event of Venice Carnival dedicated to China, broadcasted by RAI3 in 21 country. In the same year co-produced La Traviata in Beijing Music Festival with La Fenice.

 

In 2007 he realized in Madrid a "Traviata Colossal", with 400 artists and 11,500 spectators.

 

In 2008, at the Beijing Olympics, he made an event on RAI UNO and Chinese CCTV with the presence of Giovanni Allevi and other artists. Within the various positions held in China, pwas executive producer of an historic event for the country: a concert in the Vatican, in the presence of Pope Benedict XVI on the occasion of the Olympic year, an event marking the reopening of the relationship between China and the Holy See, Interrupted in 1949

 

In 2009 he start to broadcast in streaming. The first big event was the new year concert from La Fenice in Venice. More that 123.000 a big record for  that time. After that he owns a streaming channel of Opera. 

 

In 2010 he start to investigate the virtual art world and the possibilities to utilizes in the music world.

 

In 2011,the first experience: he produced the live 3D show. The Budapest Opera House open season was a world event, for the first time in the history of the Opera was on stage only a 3D stereoscopic set with virtual art scenes of the Bluebird Castle by Bartok as well as Rave’l Bolero. It was the first production of this kind of virtual art.

 

He also created an workshop "ad hoc" that deals with new technologies for the show: 3D live live.

 

In 2012 performed the 3D live show in Beijing and create a opera Gala event in 3D named “Opera by the book”

 

In 2013, he continued with virtual art and created, in Beijing, 6 different opera performances with virtual art set. The performances are screened at the Beijing Music Festival on Verdi's year.

 

In 2014 was appointed as artistic coordinator in Beijing Music festival during for two-years assignment, leading several productions of the famous Chinese classical music festival.

 

In 2015 he was keeping the position in the Beijing Music festival, leading several productions

 

In 2016 after 25 spent   in cultural business, he needed a sabbatical year, fully dedicated to a project related to the road construction with environment friendly  raw, material organic. Was great experience in China and Europe, but at the end of the year was coming back to his core business.

 

In 2017, he creates a new version of Bolero, with which he makes a tour in Italy. Production star, Lola Greco, divine of Spanish dance.

 

In December of the same yea published  his first book "San Martino was not just a Rallye" was published on the history of the famous car race. Was quite successful. He sold 2.000 copies.

 

Among the new commitments in 2017 there is the resumption of activities related to virtual art events, with a completely new and innovative technology. And in 2018 a new ballet 3D production.

 

In 2018 he was again called as advisor in the Beijing Music Festival with a four-year assignment until 2022.

 

In 2019 he coordinates and produces an exhibition on the 500th anniversary of Leonardo's death for the Cafa Museum, or the Chinese national academy of fine arts in Beijing "Leonardo and his great school". The exhibition, before arriving in China, also makes a stop in Venice at the Levi Foundation. It produces three side events.

 

In 2020 on February 23, he realizes the only live event from Wuhan during the lockdown of the city with 16 singers in unison, in connection with the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory of Music, a program that is broadcast online by the Chinese platform Kuka, with over 6 million viewers of the entire concert and 40 million on other networks. 

 

In 2021 he open the season on January 1st  with a streaming big gala event from Budapest, with many local artist starring by the violinist Zoltan Maga. Was his first experience in streaming pay TV as well as one more in virtual art application on stage. 

 

In February 2021 he start to collaboration with the National Museum of Cenacolo in Milan, in order to create a new project with NFT technology. In the same time he started to collaborate with some Opera house in the world in order to digitalization of the historic archive and offer to the fan with NFT system.

 

In march 2021 started the collaboration with some artist related with virtual art in order to create a new collectible in the crypto art. 

 

All these activity in virtual and crypto art, are coming from the large experience that he did in the past with much more difficult projects.

 

In 2022 he collaborate to  create a new event from Lviv Opera House for the day of Europe. On June 25 will coordinate East meet West event in Roma' Opera House with Chinese artist
